Who am I?
I'm 20 years old, and started adventuring 4 years ago. Since then I've kept pushing my comfort zone and challenged myself to do bigger, longer, harder adventures each time I went, from intense 2 days trips in the weekends to 4 months outside, paddling across seas and fjords on a packraft, skiing in the arctic. This led me to gain experience, learning each time a bit more about the world and how I could adapt myself to any conditions.
Adventuring slowly became a huge part of my life. Something that contributed to make it special for me is my personal #1 rule : I can't take planes or public transportation to start an adventure somewhere if I haven't unlocked the location with another adventure already. It is so much funnier to extend my mental map of the world more and more each time I leave home, and to feel like I deserve the beautiful sceneries even more. For now, outside Switzerland, I mainly focused on the north part of Europe, my three longest adventures going there. Still a lot of the world map to unlock!

Current unlocking progress in Europe. Switzerland details are too small to be seen but it is pretty well unlocked.
Besides the fun, following this rule also has an ecological purpose : forcing me to enjoy the nature I have at proximity first. For me, taking a plane to an extreme location, doing an extreme adventure a few days or weeks, anc coming back by plane pretty much kills the fun. With planes, everything seems close, you don't get to experience the full mighty hugeness of the world, the nature slowly shifting around you as you travel. And, of course, it's an huge waste of fossil energy, and contributes greatly to destroy the environments we want to enjoy. Public transportation is also really fast, but is way more responsible and you still get the feeling of adventure when travelling.
Those two aspects are the main reasons I kept the rule. But the origin story is actually a little funnier: When I was 16 years old, I was a big player of World of Warcraft. It's the most popular mmorpg, the concept is a big open world where you can create your character, explore, do quests and gain levels among other fellow players. I also liked day hiking and (very) occasional camping. In search for a bigger challenge after I finished mandatory school, I went for my first multi day hike to climb the highest mountain close to home : the Haute Cime, highest peak of les Dents Du Midi.

I kinda viewed life like a big video game, and that's for this adventure that I started using my #1 rule. (in WoW and in many other rpgs, you gotta unlock fast transport points, so doing the same irl seemed obvious) Left home on foot and walked alongside the roads, bought sugar instead of salt for cooking my evening pastas, good times. I was totally hooked and just kept pushing further and further, evolving from hiking to other means of adventure, exploring more and more of the world.
As I progressed and thrived outside, I felt the need to share my adventures with the world in hope of maybe inspiring some people to start as well. That's why I started my youtube channel and that is also kinda the purpose of this website :)
So yeah, basically adventures forged me and each time I came back I was a little stronger, a little more resilient, a little more competent. Just feel free to explore more detailed tales about my adventures there:
